Annie's been mine for two and a half years now. She's a registered Paint because a finger of her white blaze (hidden under her halter) qualified her. The rest of her is bay, white socks, black mane and tail, your basic hunter under saddle conformation, sixteen hands. My girl is twelve years old now, just perfect for me. She's sweet tempered, an easy keeper. Trimming her ears and whiskers are a snap. She doesn't flinch when I pull her mane. Her farrier loves her.
The owner of Maple Row didn't let her come when I first inquired about a stall. They had a moratorium on mares after a bitch of a horse kicked down a wall in the wash stall. Much pleading, six months, and a deep background check later, they let her in. Annie's a favorite now. It doesn't hurt that she gives Janet one of the owners goo goo eyes, like in the picture but more so. Annie can be such a flirt.
Of course, everyone thinks their horse is the most beautiful but Annie really is...really.
